Graduates and students of Maasai Technical Training Institute (M.T.T.I) were encouraged to adopt technical skills due to the government's prioritization of technical courses, aligning with six key areas that promise increased employment prospects.

Speaking at M.T.T. I’s 4th graduation, Acting Director of Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET), John Tuwei, emphasized the relevance of technical skills in the government's development agenda.

Tuwei highlighted that the government's focus areas include Affordable Housing, food and agriculture, health and applied science, digital super highway, marine and blue economy, and small enterprises, all offering job opportunities for graduates with technical skills.

Kajiado County Director of Education, Dr. Martin Cheruiyot, encouraged graduates to use their skills to grow and inspire others to pursue technical education.

Kajiado County Executive for Education, Jeremiah Ole Ncharo, emphasized innovation and the wealth of online opportunities for technical education graduates.

M.T.T.I celebrated the graduation of 1,815 students across various technical fields, including fashion and design, construction, plumbing, IT, hairdressing, and engineering.
