Suspect Linked To Mama Ida's Bodyguard's Death Arrested
Collins Okundi, a suspect into the murder of a bodyguard to Ida Odinga has been arrested in Eldoret.
According to Nyanza regional police boss, Karanja Muiruri, Okundi was arrested on Sunday with the late Barrack Onyango's Jericho pistol, one magazine and seven rounds of ammunition.
The suspect is accused of confronting Barack and grabbing his firearm before shooting him on Thursday night in Kisumu.
Barack Onyango, who was Mama Ida’s bodyguard, died on the spot on the fateful night.
Okundi was in the company of a lady and another male friend. They both sustained gunshot wounds during the confrontation.
