Somali's Prime Minister Suspended over Corruption Allegations
Somali's Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, has been suspended by President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo over corruption allegations.
Somalia's government's website in a statement, confirmed Prime Minister Roble's suspension saying, he had come to the forefront of corruption allegations and misappropriation of public funds.
Prime Minister Roble,58, allegedly received information about misappropriated public land owned by the Somali National Army and forcibly advised the Minister of Defence to divert the case into allegations of encroachment.
Investigations have been launched to probe the case as other government officials are urged to continue working by the laws and regulations of the country.
