Kenya Power has said that, A power outage reported in some parts of the country on Tuesday morning, was due to the collapse of key towers at the Kiambere-Embakasi transmission line.
Kenyans rushed on Twitter to express their frustrations and protest against the blackout which has inconvenienced their daily activities.
In a press statement, the Kenya power company says, their Engineers are working out to restore the power supply in the affected areas.
“Our engineers are working to restore electricity supply as the repairs are being undertaken. An update on the restoration progress will be issued in due course,” said the statement.
