Africa Star Railway Operation Company (AfriStar) a China Road and Bridge Corporation company has confirmed that it will full hand over the Standard Gauge Railway to be under Kenya’s management within the next five months.
The Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) will be taking over the running of SGR, although the worrying part to many Kenyans is that the company has been on a loss-making trend.
KRC is also ranging from the highest stock of outstanding loans to the government that the State procured to enable it to implement the SGR project.
