Hashtag Podcast: A Powerful Call for Education and Inclusion

BY BARAKA SIMBA
This week, Signs TV's The Hashtag podcast features an important discussion with hosts Christopher Mwololo and Caroline Wanjira, who advocate for prioritizing education for children with disabilities.
Relating to artist Dennis Karanja, popularly known as Denno, who is visually impaired, the duo stated that the artist's personal journey is a testament to the importance of education. As a guest on the episode, the former student at Thika School for the Blind said school opened his world and helped shape who he is today. He expresses deep appreciation to his parents for enrolling him.
"I thank God my parents exposed me," said Deno, who now uses music to raise awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities.
The podcast episode was a strong call to action for inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunity through education.
