The Ministry of Education has announced mid-term breaks for all secondary schools across the country.
In a statement by Education PS Julius Jwan yesterday, the mid-term break will commence on Friday 19th November 2021 and resume on Tuesday 23rd November.
The Education Ministry had initially scrapped the half breaks in the new school calendar to ensure learners recover the lost period occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The announcement by PS Jwan comes after unrests were reported in several schools, inferno attacks.
Meanwhile, Central Regional Commissioner Wilfred Nyagwanga has launched a multi-agency committee to investigate the ongoing school unrest in the region.
