Disability Organizations Can Now Register Online
The National Council for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD) has announced the registration of Organizations of/for Persons with Disabilities on the eCitizen platform.
This comes after applications for income tax exemption services and registration of persons with disabilities were successfully onboarded onto the platform.
This move by the council aligns with the government's digital transformation agenda, which aims to bring essential services closer to the public and streamline processes.
The NCPWD aims to improve the effectiveness, accessibility, and convenience of organizations that work with persons with disabilities by providing online apps.
How to Apply:
- Review Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with the eligibility criteria and required documents.
- Applicant Details: Provide personal information of the official submitting the application.
- Organization Particulars: Share detailed information about the organization, including its mission, vision, and activities.
- Target Disability: Specify the type(s) of disabilities the organization supports or represents.
- Officials and Uploads: List the organization's key officials and upload the necessary documents.
Once the application is submitted, the council will review and process it. Upon approval, the organization can download and print the registration certificate directly from the eCitizen platform.
