“Manual register is a must at every polling station. It is not negotiable and we are telling the IEBC that manual registers are a must along with biometric identification of voter’s failure to which there will be no elections,” Odinga said.
The Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has while addressing the residents in Kiambu from Ruiru to Gatundu threatened to boycott the August elections if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) does not provide the manual back up voter register.
Odinga has asked the IEBC to provide manual back up for the election to continue stating that is the only way to ensure that the election is credible.
