Eddie Nketiah scored twice in the second half to help Arsenal secure a comfortable 3-0 win against Oxford United in their FA cup third round clash.

The win sets up an enticing Fourth-round clash for the Gunners against Manchester City – on the final weekend of January- who progressed after a resounding victory against Chelsea.

Mikel Arteta’s side struggled in the first half and failed to record a single shot on target, with Oxford putting up an impressive show in frustrating the Premier League leaders.

An Unusual goal scorer Mohamed Elneny broke the deadlock 10 minutes into the second half, scoring his first goal of the season after pouncing on a Fabio Vieira free kick into the penalty area.

Eddie Nketiah then sealed the win for Arsenal with two composed finishes in six minutes, giving the Gunners a deserved three points.

Mikel Arteta’s attacking quality has been handed a lifeline as Emile Smith Rowe returned from injury and had some minutes in the tank to make his first appearance since September last year following groin surgery.
