Liverpool continued with their pursuit of a top four finish after a commanding 3-0 win over relegation threatened Leicester, at the King Power stadium on Monday.

Curtis Jones scored twice in two minutes with Trent Alexander-Arnold rounding off the victory with a stunning free kick as Liverpool closed to within one point of the top four.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been on a seven game winning streak piling pressure on Manchester United and Newcastle who both have three games remaining to Liverpool’s two.

Leicester’s woes continued as they have collected just one win in their last 14 games – earning six points in total during that run – and lost at home for a club-record equalling 10th time this season.

Boss Dean Smith has two fixtures remaining at Newcastle, a match that could seal their fate should Everton or Leeds win over the weekend.

Leicester then welcome West Ham at home as they fight to stay on the top flight as they face relegation just seven years after their remarkable title win.
