Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes will not be heading to Saudi Arabia this summer, despite growing speculation on social media and online platforms linking him to Al Nassr.
Multiple reports had suggested that the 24-year-old Brazilian forward was a top target for the Saudi Pro League side, potentially joining forces with Cristiano Ronaldo in Riyadh. However, sources close to the player have now rubbished those claims, insisting that there are no ongoing talks or negotiations between Rodrygo and Al Nassr.
The rumors, which began circulating earlier this month, also extended to Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, but those too have been firmly denied.
Rodrygo played a pivotal role in Real Madrid’s recent La Liga and UEFA Champions League triumphs and remains a key part of Xabi Alonso's plans, especially with the arrival of Kylian Mbappé and the departure of several senior forwards.
Similarly, Martinelli is not considering a move away from Arsenal, where he remains an integral player under Mikel Arteta.
With the Saudi Pro League continuing its aggressive recruitment of European stars, speculation around young talents like Rodrygo and Martinelli is likely to persist — but for now, both players are set to stay put.
