The Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has extended the deadline for the application of inter-institution transfers from August 15, 2023, to August 18, 2023.
In a notice, KUCCPS noted that the changes resulted in challenges experienced while making M-Pesa payments.
“The KUCCPS M-Pesa Paybill option has been restored. The application for inter-institutional transfers has been extended to Friday, August 18, 2023, to make up for the brief interruption,” reads the notice.
Students who are not satisfied with their current institutions can now apply to transfer to another institution until Friday, August 18, 2023.
To apply for an inter-institution transfer, students must log into their KUCCPS account (http://students.kuccps.net) and fill out the relevant forms.
Applicants must have been placed in the programme they are seeking a transfer from and the programme must have been on offer in the year the applicant was placed.
The KUCCPS will then review the applications and make a decision on whether or not to grant the transfer. Students who are granted a transfer will be required to pay a transfer fee.
