The Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) has initiated a water project to serve over 1200 households in the Emutsesa sub-location of Khwisero Sub County.

Christopher Aseka, the Area Member of Parliament, emphasized the importance of providing clean and safe water by ensuring that community water projects are commissioned in every sub-location within the constituency. He made these remarks while launching the project at Ebuyonga Primary School, accompanied by LBDA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Wycliffe Ochiaga.

Aseka highlighted that the LBDA-led project aims to deliver 64,000 liters of water daily and commended the authority for prioritizing the needs of his constituents and actively supporting the project’s implementation.

Furthermore, he emphasized that the project’s completion will alleviate the challenges faced by women and girls in accessing water, a vital resource.
