Chelsea win against Spurs in cup Semi-Final.

Chelsea FC had a dominant display of football against their English rivals Tottenham FC winning 2-0 in their Semi-final League Cup first leg at the Stamford Brige.

The Blues went ahead through an early goal from German Midfielder Kai Hervatz 5 minutes into the game.

Tottenham added to their troubles after Defender Ben Davies put the ball into his own net in the 34th minute giving Chelsea the lead.

Spurs created a few chances in the second half to try get a point but was not enough to trouble Chelsea goal keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Tuchel restored record signing Romelu Lukaku to the team having dropped him for Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool as punishment for the Belgian saying in an interview that he was unhappy with his role at Stamford Bridge.

The second leg of the semi-final at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to take place on January 12th and the winners will face either Arsenal or Liverpool.
