Muchangi Kioi who is the director of Criminal investigation in Kiambu county has recovered, recaptured and put behind bars many felons and some young confused crooks or maybe let’s say Kioi has made a fortune this week and yes headlines.
To start off with a very interesting story of 2 robber amongst the 8 who were recaptured after breaking out of Thika Police station after pretending to have a bad stomach ache and needed to visit the lavatory, moment after running away have been put back in Custody as the man husting for the rest still continues.
The second case making headlines side by side with Kioi is a capture and a discovery just 200m form Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where an operation led to the realization that the drugs seized by the officers are eighty pieces of heroin worth Ksh 80,000, thirty rolls of bhang and a hundred litres of Chang’aa, thanks to the sleuths.
The second success story happened only a week after police in Thika recovered Kshs 2.5 million worth of narcotics weighing 86 kilograms at the sprawling Kiganjo village.
