Margaret Ajema from Migori county is pleading with well-wishers to help her fund her sister’s education.

Ajema is the firstborn in a family of four and was born with a congenital limb malformation.

Despite her physical disability, she has been the breadwinner for the family, as her mother, a single parent, is ailing.

She has been catering for her sister’s educational support while in primary and she, therefore, fears she would not afford her secondary fees due to her financial status.

Margaret is determined to beat all odds and become the sole rescuer of her poor family.

Unbelievably of her condition, Margaret can cook, wash clothes, clean utensils, and receive and make calls easily, in fact, her ailing mother and young sister are fully dependent on her.

Additionally, Margaret says that the challenging situation at home did not provide a conducive environment for her sister’s education, leading to her poor performance in the recently released 2022 KCPE results.

Although she is optimistic that if she gets a good support, she will succeed in her education.
