TRANSFERS: Bayern Munich’s Bid for Luis Díaz Rejected by Liverpool

Bayern Munich have taken a major step in their pursuit of Luis Díaz by submitting a formal offer to Liverpool for the Colombian winger. The German giants tabled a €67.5 million proposal on Tuesday, identifying the 28-year-old as a key target for their summer rebuild.
However, Liverpool immediately turned down the offer, standing firm on their valuation of the player. Though Díaz is reportedly valued at over €100 million for accounting purposes, the Premier League side maintain that he is not for sale at any price — at least for now.
Despite Liverpool’s public stance, Díaz's future at Anfield appears uncertain. The former FC Porto star has just two years left on his contract, and no talks of an extension have taken place. Sources close to the situation reveal the winger has informed the club of his desire to leave.
As the transfer window progresses, all eyes will be on whether Bayern return with an improved offer — and whether Liverpool’s resolve holds.
