Google is celebrating the 71st Birthday of Professor Okoth Okombo, who was heavily involved in developing the Kenyan Sign Language. Further, he is considered the founder of African Sign Language Studies. Before his death on November 1, 2017, Prof was the founder and former Director of the Kenyan Sign Language Research Project based in the University of Nairobi.
To recognize his efforts and accomplishments, Google put this doodle exhibit to celebrate his Life and Legacy.
