Tusker rope in Players ahead of The New Season

Football Kenya Federation Premier League champions Tusker FC have completed the signing of three new players to their squad ahead of the new season.

Wazito FC striker Otieno moves to the Ruaraka based club after two seasons, turning down offers from KCB and Nzoia Sugar FC and he is expected to boost Tusker FC attack for next season.

Tom Teka, a defender ends his four-year stay with Kariobangi Sharks while Eric Mata, who has previously played for Mathare United and Ushuru FC exits after one season, having scored 11 goals for kariobangi Sharks last year.

Another addition Boniface Kajos Onyango leaves Kariobangi Sharks after three years and he is expected to solidify Tusker’s backline.

With Patrick Matasi’s future at Tusker still uncertain, the club has boosted the goalkeeping department as well by acquiring the services of Brian Opondo from Bidco United.

Opondo is a former Bidco United keeper and he is expected to fight for a place between the posts with Brian Bwire, Michael Wanjala and one of the keepers from the Tuskers’ youth team.

Completing the list is young midfielder David ‘Daddy’ Odoyo. The central midfielder has been training with Tusker for weeks now and impressed Coach Robert Matano who has authorized his signing.
