The striking Embu health workers today called off their strike after the County Government agreed to their demands.
The healthcare workers have been on strike for the past 23 days paralyzing the county’s public health system over failure by the employer to remit statutory deductions to relevant authorities, lack of adequate medical.
The Kenya National Union of Nurses National Chairman Joseph Ngwasi, speaking at a joint press briefing with officials of the County Government called on all health workers to resume work in 48 hours following the signing of the return-to-work formula.
