The Deputy President William Ruto-led team Kenya Kwanza Alliance have once again expressed their confidence in the IEBC to deliver a free, fair, and credible election.
Speaking in Marsabit, William Ruto said that the Azimio campaign are only raising issues concerning the ballot paper printing because they of the fear that they are loosing the election come August 9th 2022 general election which is just 32 days away.
“Wajipange tuende kwa uchaguzi wananchi wa Kenya waamue…wasianze kutuletea vitisho, wasianze propaganda, wasianze kujipanga wakatae tena hii uchaguzi wa tarehe tisa mwezi wa nane,” said DP Ruto.
“…on August 9th we will send you packing…na hiyo siku tukipiga kura hiyo curfew mimi naondoa within 24 hours,” the deputy president accused Cabinet secretary of internal security Matiang’i who he threatened to send home once elected president.
The deputy president while addressing the residents also stated that the he has many supporter though many would not come out since they would be victimized. He further went ahead to ask the IEBC to take Raila to where the papers are printed as long as the election are done on the 9th of August for the citizens to vote.
