President Ruto to Lead Utamaduni Day Celebrations at Bomas of Kenya

The government has officially announced that President William Ruto will oversee the inaugural Utamaduni Day festivities, which are set to take place on Tuesday, October 10th at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi.

Ummi Bashir, the Principal Secretary for the State Department for Culture, Arts, and Heritage, made this announcement through a statement yesterday. She also revealed that similar celebrations are planned for all constituencies across the nation.

This year’s celebration will have a special focus on encouraging public involvement and will feature street fairs, food festivals, cultural performances, and exhibitions, all designed to highlight Kenya’s rich cultural traditions.

The national festivities will be hosted at the prestigious Bomas of Kenya, with the honorable presence of President Dr. William Ruto and other distinguished dignitaries.

To ensure the success of the day, the Principal Secretary encouraged Kenyans to actively engage in discussions, workshops, and cultural displays that highlight the diverse heritage of the country.
