Nyamira Residents Satisfied With President’s Appointments

Nyamira residents have expressed satisfaction with recent public appointments by President William Ruto to some members of the local community.

They cited solicitor General Shadrack Mose whose appointment awaited parliamentary vetting, Walter Nyambati, unsuccessful area gubernatorial contestant, and Education Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Machogu.

The residents who met at Keroka town pleaded with the president to consider appointing more others including those who campaigned vigorously for his party’s win in the polls.

Rigoma ward rep, Nyambega Gisesa appealed to the elected leadership to defend and respect the presidential appointees from the community for them to deliver on their mandate.

The residents will take advantage of CS Machogu’s home-coming to affirm their support to the Kenya Kwanza government.

Nicholas Boi claimed the residents were pressing for a consultative session with the president to appraise him on the area’s socio-economic needs.

Ken Nyameino assured the president that they will reciprocate his gesture by shunning divisive  public meetings and petitioned Ruto to complete stalled projects in the area.

Abraham Ondieki said the residents were ready to welcome  and support the president during his visit soon to the area.
