Contrary to what most people anticipated that a known influencer will be chosen as the face of Fenty, it came as a shock when Nikita took to her social media account and announced that she will lead the campaign.

The company said on social media: “The wait is finally over. Africa, we are pulling up! Who’s ready? We’ve been working to make this happen.”
The products will be launched in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana, Zambia and Zimbabwe before they start retailing in other African countries, with Rihanna herself stating her wish to see her products, first launched in September 2017, being embraced across the continent.
