ARSENAL SHOW STRONG INTEREST IN VIKTOR GYOKERES

Arsenal are set to add a lethal striker to their attack force this summer.

Since the arrival of the new sporting Director Andrea Bertha the gunners have now shortlisted upto five strikers that they could buy starting June.

Newcastle and Sweden striker Alexander Isak was once high on the list but his pricetag of 150 million pounds is looking to fend off Arsenal interest.

Another man for the position was RB Leipzig's Slovenian Benjamin Sesko who has maintained his form in the bundesliga with goals and assists. The blocking point is the clubs reluctance to sell their striker who is valued at around 70 million Euros.

Another man is wolves and Brazilian wonderkid Matheus Cunha who has shown his prowess despite his club being in the danger of being relegated. Arsenal submitted a bid for him in the January transfer window but it was not accepted.

Arsenal never gave up and went away from the three to try and sign their former academy star Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa by submitting a bid to lure him to the Emirates. The player was willing but Aston Villa rejected the bid claiming it was done during the wrong time.

Now that another summer overhaul window is approaching the gunners have shown another greenlight of signing a striker after the long term injury of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz.

Arsenal are developing a strong interest in Sporting forward Viktor Gyokeres as they consider their options to sign a striker this summer, according to The Athletic.

It is claimed Arsenal’s new sporting director Andrea Berta is a long-term admirer of Gyokeres.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly a huge fan of Alexander Isak, while Newcastle have opted not to sell. The gunners are shifting their interests somewhere else.
