Kisii county assembly members have added their voice to condemn registration of an association for people with perverted sexual relations, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ).

Addressing the media outside the assembly, those interviewed said the intended association stood rejected owing to its members’ sexual orientations.

Callen Magara observed society had cultural norms which should be respected adding the holy bible was clear on its position.

Challenging judges who delivered the judgment to bring sanity to society, Magara announced the MCA were committed to sensitizing the young generation on the effects of the LGBTQ through their parents.

Marani ward rep Denis Ombachi remarked the assembly had good reasons to condemn the promotion of same-sex relations since it was anti-social.

He claimed certain sections of CBC appeared to support the teaching of the LGBTQ and will be vehemently resisted.

Henry Moracha noted that President William Ruto had pronounced himself on the issue and suggested that the judges involved in the passing of the controversial judgment be investigated.
