The Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) marked World Teachers’ Day 2025 by joining educators and stakeholders nationwide to champion the critical role of teachers in building inclusive, quality education for all learners.

The celebration was held under the global theme, “Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession,” emphasizing the power of partnership and shared responsibility in shaping the future of education and ensuring that all students thrive.

KISE used the occasion to proudly demonstrate its commitment to this collaborative approach through a special exhibition.

The showcase featured a range of resources designed to support learners with diverse abilities, including inclusive teaching and learning materials, assistive technologies, and specialized teacher training programs.

In a statement on social media, KISE reaffirmed its dedication to working across different sectors, disciplines, and communities.

The institute stressed that collaboration is essential to recognize teachers as changemakers and provide every learner with the opportunity to succeed in an inclusive environment.
