Kenya Not At War With Neighbors- Prime CS
Foreign Affairs and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has debunked rumors of the country being at odds with its neighbors.
Speaking alongside President Ruto while attending an event in Busia County, the Prime CS urged the media to stop spreading such speculation.
Mudavadi highlighted Kenya's commitment to regional peace, contrasting it with recent claims of tension with Tanzania, Uganda, and DRC.
"Kenya is not at war with any of its neighbors. President Ruto is on the frontline in bringing peace to the region," Mudavadi said.
Recently, Tanzania banned Kenya Airways (KQ) flights because the government wouldn't let their cargo planes fly from Nairobi, a move Kenya quickly reversed and allowed Tanzania cargo aircraft to operate from Nairobi.
In another incident, Uganda sued Kenya at the East African Court of Justice because they wouldn't let their oil company operate in Kenya.
At the same time, Congo recalled their ambassador because Kenya hosted a new rebel group, which according to DRC was a major national security concern.
