Property of unknown value today has been destroyed by fire in Gikomba Market, leaving traders with losses once again.
According to witnesses, the fire broke out in the wee hours of Sunday morning, traders tried saving some of their goods amidst a heavy downpour that persisted overnight.
It is barely three months since the fire burned down the market, the government, after the incident, promised to fit CCTV cameras and beef up security around the market.
