The Ministry of Education has allowed parents and guardians to seek admission for Grade 10 learners at senior schools of their choice following the conclusion of the initial placement review.
The decision targets learners who remain dissatisfied after the first review phase of senior school placement under the Competency-Based Curriculum.
Education authorities confirmed that a second revision window will run from January 6 to January 9, giving families another opportunity to request changes.
Parents will be allowed to apply for placement in alternative senior schools, subject to availability of space and approved subject combinations.
The Ministry said the move is intended to offer flexibility and ensure learners are placed in schools that align with their academic pathways and interests.
Applications for the second review will be submitted through the official placement portal used during the initial placement exercise.
Learners whose review requests were approved during the first phase have already begun accessing their joining instructions.
Those satisfied with their current placement have been advised not to reapply, as fresh applications will overwrite previous selections.
Education officials noted that many requests during the first review were declined due to limited capacity in popular schools.
The Ministry urged parents to make realistic choices when selecting schools during the second revision phase.
School principals have been instructed to support the process by verifying available slots before approvals are issued.
The Ministry said it will communicate final outcomes after the January 6–9 window closes, ahead of Grade 10 reporting dates.
