David Mwaure: Expect a run-off

Agano Party presidential candidate David Mwaure Waihiga with Ms. Ruth Mutua has urged Kenyans to prepare for an election run-off should IEBC not announce him winner in the Uhuru Kenyatta succession race next month.

“If I will not be announced as the winner of the August 9 presidential race, the country must then prepare for a run-off,” Mwaure told the standard.

Should we say the pastor has made a decree and declared himself president, or has it been stamped in the angel’s upper room.

If elected president next month, Mwaure has pledged to among others , increase revenue allocation to counties to 40% and designate 10% of the 40% to go directly to the Village councils.

“Leadership comes from God; it is Him who raises and brings down.” Mwaure said.

Mwaure also echoed his early statement that the polls are not a true reflection as should not be compared with public officials who are using public resources.

The Agano leader will face Azimio la Umoja One Kenya leader Raila Odinga, Deputy President William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance, and Roots Party’s Prof. George Wajackoyah in the August 9 contest.
