Cameroon thrash Ethiopia to push to last 16

Hosts Cameroon dominated their Second Group A match against rivals Ethiopia to end a goal-shy Africa Cup of Nations winning 4-1 at the Younde Stadium.

Ethiopia got an early goal four minutes into the game through Dawa Hotessa Dukele but double goals from captain Aboubakar and Toto Ekambi of Cameroon gave the hosts the three points.

Cameroon for the second successive match, came from behind as Captain Aboubakar added his tally for the tournament to four goals and Toko Ekambi also scoring a brace.

The five-time African champions have a maximum of six points from two matches and are in top of Group A.

Cameroon will play Cape Verde in their Final group A Match and with qualification to last 16 already secured, they could sit down and rest a few players.
