Cameroon beat rivals Comoros.

Hosts Cameroon got a deserved 2-1 win against Comoros to advance to the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals.

Karl Toko Ekambi and Vincent Aboubakar scored Cameroon’s goals as the hosts moved into a comfortable lead with 20 minutes.

Comoros started the game with a left-back in goal and played with 10 men for over 80 minutes, after their captain was sent off but kept their head in the game and were narrowly beaten.

Comoros pulled a goal back from Youssouf M’Changama with nine minutes left via a stunning free-kick.

Cameroon will take on Gambia in the last eight on Saturday, after they upset Guinea 1-0.
