Boda Boda Operator Crashed To Death
A Boda Boda operator has crashed to death in a head-on coalition with a public service vehicle (PSV) along the Mogonga-Kenyenya road in Bomachoge Borabu.
A pillion passenger aboard the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kenyenya sub-county hospital.
Eye witness Jackline Gesare said the PSV being driven from Kenyenya run into the motorcycle Duke Maburi was riding from Mogonga at Oroche.
The motorcyclist perished on the spot while his passenger was seriously injured and was ferried for urgent medication at the Kenyenya sub county health facility.
Mokaya Migiro, another eye witness claimed the PSV Nissan Matatu drove onto the lane kept by the motorcyclist and hit him by tossing the passenger into the air on impact.
The driver allegedly fled from the scene with the ill-fated vehicle.
Police arrived later and removed the body to a mortuary whose identity could not be established immediately.
