Bandari FC ready for take off.

Bandari FC have pitched tent in Nairobi for their pre-season ahead of the 2022/23 FKF Premier League season and will kick off their schedule of friendlies tomorrow with a game against an NSL team.

According to team manager Albert Ogari, the team is set to face Posta Rangers and Kariobangi Sharks on Friday and Saturday respectively.

"We arrived in Nairobi yesterday for our continuous preparations at Goan Institute grounds as we plan for a friendly against an NSL side tomorrow (Wednesday)," said Ogari.

"We will then play our premier league counterparts Posta Rangers, Kariobangi Sharks and AFC Leopards on Friday and Saturday," added Ogari.

Ogari further said they are keen to test their newly acquired players against top teams and gauge their performance before the new season kicks off on September 10th.

"We have seen them in two friendlies against local team in Mombasa but these three matches will give us clear assessment before we rectify them ahead of the season opener."

Bandari have already signed seven players in the ongoing transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad.

They have managed to acquire the services of James Kinyanjui and Fidel Origa from Wazito FC, another pair of Felix Oluoch and Douglas Mokaya from Kariobangi Sharks.

Others include Omar Somobwana from AFC Leopards, Mohammed Abeid from Coastal Heroes and Enock Momanyi from Talanta FC.

As per the Transition FKF Committee released fixture, Bandari are set to kick off their campaign against Kenya Police in Nairobi.

Bandari finished fourth in the Kenya Premier League last season, behind Champions Tusker FC, second placed Kakamega Homeboyz and Gor Mahia who settled for third place.
