Leaders Tusker gear up against Bullets
Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano will be hoping to maintain their winning form when they take on Vihiga Bullets Wednesday at 3.00 pm at Ruaraka Complex.
Matano has however warned his team not to underrate Vihiga Bullets, despite starting the league with a 100 percent win and enjoying the top spot with 15 points.
Tusker is two points ahead of Second placed Nzoia sugar while Kakamega Homeboys, Gor Mahia and KCB follow with 11, 10 , and 9 points respectively.
Tusker will move to 18 points with a victory, setting up their best-ever run at the start of the season in the last decade.
“We cannot underrate anyone. They are in the league and deserve to be here. Every match is crucial for us and we take every match seriously,” Matano said.
He added; “We have prepared very well as a team despite the fact that we started slow after the small break. But we will be ready for the match tomorrow. We are looking to continue with our good run.”
