Late Winner Seals Dramatic 2–1 Victory for AFC Leopards Over Ulinzi Stars

In a thrilling Kenyan Premier League encounter at the Ulinzi Sports Complex on Thursday, AFC Leopards secured a dramatic 2–1 win over Ulinzi Stars thanks to a last-gasp strike from Victor ‘Aguero’ Otieno.

Leopards took the opportunity just before halftime when Tyson Otieno found the back of the net in added time of the first half to give his side a crucial lead. However, Ulinzi Stars responded early in the second half, with league top scorer Paul Okoth rising highest to power home a header in the 50th minute and level the score.

As the match approached its conclusion and looked set for a draw, Victor Otieno delivered a spectacular finish in stoppage time to clinch all three points for Leopards, sending their travelling supporters into raptures.

The victory propels AFC Leopards up the Kenya Premier League standings to third place with 21 points, keeping them firmly in contention as the season continues. Ulinzi Stars, despite their spirited performance, will be left frustrated by the narrow loss.
