The national rugby 15s team will once again attempt to qualify for the World Cup via the repechage route following their humiliating loss to Namibia 36- 0 in the Africa Cup final.

Kenya will have to battle against three teams from across Asia/Pacific, the Americas, and Europe in the Final Qualification Tournament, which is being held for the second Rugby World Cup tournament running in November.

The winner of the four-team tournament will secure the last remaining ticket for the 2023 Rugby World cup.

Simba was last seen in the repechage in 2018 where they lost all matches and are expected to make a come back via the repechage route.
