Roma reached their second European final in a row despite a barren draw against Bayer Leverkusen in their Europa League semi-final second leg.

Edoardo Bove’s first leg goal was the difference between the two European giants with the Italians taking the advantage in both legs.

Jose Mourinho has won all of his previous five European finals including last season’s Europa Conference League with Roma.

‘’My concern isn’t marking my place in the Roma history books,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.

“It’s helping these kids [players] to grow and achieve important things.

“It’s also helping the Roma fans who have given me so much since day one. It’s an immense joy to get to another final.”

Leverkusen failed to capitalize on their chances with Moussa Diaby striking the post in the first half but could not find a breakthrough.

Roma will take on the resilient Sevilla at the finals in Budapest on May 31.
