President Ruto Calls for Innovative Trade Solutions

President William Ruto has declared Kenya’s readiness to engage in international business, calling on the European Partnership Agreement (EPA) Council to explore innovative solutions to existing trade barriers.
Speaking at the Second Edition of the Kenya-EU Business Forum held in Nairobi, the president underscored Kenya’s commitment to strengthening economic partnerships and boosting private sector collaboration.
“Our goal is to build a competitive and resilient economy. We are implementing pro-trade policies that foster inclusive wealth creation and create opportunities for businesses,” President Ruto shared via his official social media platforms.
A key highlight of the forum was the official launch of the European Union Chamber in Nairobi. The initiative aims to deepen collaboration between the Kenyan and European Union private sectors, providing a platform for shared growth, investment, and innovation.
The president reiterated the importance of strategic alliances in positioning Kenya as a hub for international trade, urging stakeholders to embrace creativity and policy reforms that drive sustainable economic development.
The Kenya-EU Business Forum serves as a vital platform for dialogue between policymakers and business leaders, focusing on investment opportunities, trade facilitation, and economic transformation.
