Pope Francis' Funeral Ceremony Set for Saturday

Following their meeting on Tuesday to finalize arrangements, the College of Cardinals has announced that the funeral liturgy for Pope Francis will be held on Saturday morning. This solemn ceremony will initiate the traditional nine-day period of mourning observed by the Catholic Church.
The Mass will start at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Square.
The mass will be presided over by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals, and will be attended by Patriarchs, Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, and priests from all around the world.
The Eucharistic celebration will close with the Ultima commendatio and the Valedictio, signaling the start of the Novemdiales, or nine days of grief and Masses for Pope Francis' repose.
