NTSA, ISSUE TRAFFIC ROAD OFFENDER EFFACE TO REDUCE ROAD DEATHS.

The traffic- police force has commenced on their mission as directed in a statement by Shiosi the police spoke-person urging the public, motorist and drivers to corporate so as to remove the delinquents of the road and guard the residents.

Referring to the recent reports indicating over 1968 deaths have been recorded as the of the 3rd of June 2022 noting that car crushes and motorbikes were amongst the top causes of the accident and human related errors, Shiosi noted in his statement.

The government has directed the traffic operation countrywide on vehicle and motorist following the recent influx of road accidents in the country.

Police spoke person Bruno Isohi Shiosi on Wednesday gave a notice in his statement directing the public that the crackdown will be undertaken in conjunction with the National Transport and safety authority seeking to stem out all traffic offenders starting 8th June.

“Motorists and other road users are therefore reminded to remain vigilant, cautious, and responsible whilst in charge of a motor vehicle, or whenever using a public road as pedestrians,” Shiosi noted.

Shiosi has also called on all road users to cooperate with the multi-agency teams as they undertake the operations.
