The Kenyan government has held a diplomatic talk with the Tanzanian government to address the growing concerns of Kenyan citizens living in Tanzania.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi led the talks. The talks focused on the welfare and protection of Kenyans working in Tanzania after Tanzania's president said that arrested protestors were from the neighbouring countries.
This comes after high tension since her swearing in after the official page State House-Tanzania posted a message from the president sending a warning to anyone fueling chaos. She also said that national peace must be protected with all the efforts possible.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo(MP) has assured his counterpart Musalia Mudavadi of productive outcome after he held a dialogue with him over the phone.
