Arsenal are set to strengthen their recruitment department with the imminent arrival of Maurizio Micheli, who has reportedly agreed to join the club under newly appointed director Andrea Berta. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Micheli’s move to north London is in its final stages and an official announcement is expected soon.
Micheli has earned wide recognition for his excellent work at Napoli, where he played a key role in scouting and assembling the team that won the Serie A title in the 2022/23 season. His eye for talent and network across European football made him one of the most respected figures in Italian scouting.
At Arsenal, Micheli will form part of a revamped recruitment structure being led by Andrea Berta, formerly of Atlético Madrid, as the Gunners aim to enhance their scouting efficiency and long-term talent strategy.
