Late Magoha's Requiem Mass Underway
Former Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha's requiem mass is underway at the Consolata Shrine, Westlands.
The mass is being presided over by Nairobi Archbishop Philip Anyolo.
Various government officials are in attendance including Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Dentists Union (KMPDU) officials.
According to former Basic Education PS Julius Jwan, who is leading the team making funeral arrangements, Magoha will be buried in Umiru, Nyamininia sub-county.
Revealing more details Jwan said on February 10, Magoha’s body will arrive at Township Primary School in Yala at 1 pm before a procession leading to St Mary’s school. A holy mass will follow at his home in Umiru, in Nyamninia.
The late Magoha's family has settled on February 11, 2023, as his burial date.
Magoha, 71, passed on January 24 at the Nairobi Hospital.
