The much awaited Enterprise Cup final between Kabras Sugar and KCB on Saturday at the RFUEA ground, will be curtain raised by the KRU nationwide final between Mombasa RFC and JKUAT’s Cougar.

Current champions Kabras -who retained the Kenya Cup title last month after beating KCB 19-9 in Kakamega – will be seeking to win the knockout tournament for the third time in a row having won in 2019 and 2022.

In the semifinal, Kabras got the better of Menengai Oilers winning 19-17 last weekend in Kakamega while KCB dominated over Impala thrashing them 64-3.

Both sides clashed last year during the Enterprise Cup final where Kabras won 9-6.

The KRU Nationwide final setting the pace between Mombasa RFC and the Cougars will see the teams be promoted to the championship for the 2023 -2024 season.

The coast region will now have two teams in the second tier of Kenyan rugby thus Mombasa and South Coast Pirates.
