Kisii County Mashujaa Celebration Plans Finalized
Plans for Mashujaa Day celebrations have been finalized with a remarkable shift of venue for Kitutu Central and Kisii Central sub-counties.
For the first time, the two sub-counties will jointly host the national event at Gusii stadium as opposed to Mosocho and Keumbu.
Addressing the media after a meeting to conclude the day’s arrangements, Kitutu Central deputy county commissioner, Atemi Elizabeth invited residents from the two sub counties to attend the occasion.
She assured them of beefed-up security and enough space in the newly revamped sports facility for the attendees.
Heroes and heroines from the area will show case their prowess in line with the occasion’s objectives, the DCC added.
Kisii county held the first celebrations after Covid19 pandemic spike at the same venue last year on a national level.
