KIPPRA CONFRENCE @25 HELD FROM 15TH- 17TH JUNE

Kenya institute of public policy research and analysis which has been in existence since 1991, today held their 5th Annual regional conference in Nairobi at the Kenya school of government with the theme foundation for a sustainable economic transformation in Kenya with the Second day being graced by National Treasury chief administrative secretary Eric Simiyu.

The theme was driven by the transitional status of the country, economic recovery, effects of drought, geopolitical crisis and the rise of Covid-19 cases as was stated by Principal Secretary for the State Department for Planning in The National Treasury and Planning, Saitoti Torome.

Simiyu also went ahead to give a report on the still on going Konza city project and Kenya Vision 2030 noting that there projects are past 65% underway and that they have added up to 3900MW of power being produced as the tariffs are reduce by 15% there noticing an increase of household using electricity.

The Voice of Person With Disabilities in the country was not left behind as the CEO founder Signs Media Luke Muleka took to the stage to invite Kenyans and the Africa at large to embrace new technology such assistAll app that would see inclusion of the deaf in the society.
