Kenya’s National Amputee Football team has qualified for the semi-finals of the East and Central Africa Amputee Football (CECAAF) Championship after defeating Uganda 3-0 in Bujumbura, Burundi.
The dominant performance saw the Kenyan side control the game from start to finish, with clinical finishing ensuring a comfortable passage into the last four. The victory sparked celebrations among the players and fans, who hailed the team’s resilience and determination on the regional stage.
Kenya will now face the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the semi-final scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2025, as they continue their quest for continental glory.
